Holiday Home with Asian Art

Client travels around the world collecting art pieces whilst on business trips. His collection is so vast that he has to buy hous- es in Bali, Hong Kong, Canada and Europe to house them.

Since he is station in Hong Kong for the coming years, he would like us to build a home for him where he could escape from the crowd in Central during weekends. And to display some of his favourite art pieces. We choose stark white walls and dark wooden floor to simulate a gallery setting for his arts with professional lighting system. Rest of house will have a lazy Sunday atmosphere, plenty of sun, fresh air and soft furnishings. Perfect for barbeque lunch and enjoying mojitos in sunset.

假日風情

屋主是國際投資銀行家，多年來因工作關係，於各地搜集了許多工藝品及書作，他想利用這週末渡假屋展覽他的珍藏。

我們用上藝廊的展覽技術去擺放他的畫並於書房建造了展覽櫃。因為藝術品已主導了全屋的風格，我們選用了舒適的家具和涼快的色調，使嚴肅的藝廊融匯渡假的氣氛。

地下露天範圍有燒烤爐和餐桌，屋主週日可邀請良朋一起暢飲至日落，女客更可在上層露台作日光浴。

主人房建造了閣樓作衣帽間，為了使浴室更加光亮愉快，我們用天窗採光並用上淡色石磚；貫通三層樓的樓梯安裝了不銹鋼無支柱扶手，這些都是屋主最滿意的設計。
