Design Brief — Launching of the very successful HNSY restaurant chain
設計概要 — 客人從新加坡聘請最有名的酒店主廚來香港開設海南雞飯食店，要於短期發展成有名的連鎖店。

Dai ShaoYe

This restaurant was recommended by Michelin as the best Singaporean Cuisine shortly after it’s opening.

Founder Mr Tony Cheng gave us much freedom on the design, his only hope was for the interior to reminiscent a lazy summer afternoon which a ShaoYe would spend at home tending to his flowers, birds & fishes. As the area is not big, besides the semi open kitchen and seating, we could work on the walls only. We invited artists to paint fishes swimming in the pond, the painters were specialising in wall painting, they worked on projects such as Disney and stage sets. Overlooking the yacht pier, any afternoon would be a lazy one.

大少爺

客人本身就是少爺，他們想有一間有懷舊味道的小店，賣最好食的海南雞飯。

店舖比較細小，可以發揮的地方只有店面和牆身，我們聘請了曾為迪士尼室外繪畫的有名舞台畫家為我們畫了兩副壁畫；一是黃山，另一則是配合立體制作的錦鯉，配以瓷器和木器，顧客就像在少爺家細意品嚐米芝連推介的海南雞飯。
